ABOUT HACHIGO
THE STORY
Hitomi Iketani worked as a merchandising, marketing and branding consultant in Tokyo for over 15 years.
Hitomi moved to Melbourne in 2005, and set up HACHIGO, a company developed to drive creative Australian art and design in Japan.
HACHIGO has participated in numerous interior + art related projects since its inception, including hotels and restaurants, retail and wholesale, plus exhibitions and events.
In 2017, HACHIGO began importing works from Japan, with a focus on 'In between art and design' - which is Hitomi's passion and love.
