Kaori Tazoe
Kaori Tazoe is an artist living in Yokohama City. She mainly creates art works offering an imaginary scene that takes up the entire space using various materials familiar to us, such as toys, backgrounds, lighting and mirrors. Major exhibitions include the 2005 Yokohama Triennale, the 2006 Artists Today Exhibition, Artists-in-Residence (Location One/NY), Koganecho Bazaar in 2008 and 2010. She received a grant from the ACC (Asian Cultural Council) in 2006.
Yazawa Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Founded in Tamaku Omori in 1954, Yazawa Manufacturing is a small factory for metal cutting work. The factory's manufacturing process involves rotating materials, using cutting tools, and utilizing machine tools for scraping or punching to perform lathe operations with CAM type automatic lathes and NC lathes. Most of the finished products are used as parts of precision machines such as medical equipment and inspection machines.
